A women, holding a fan in her hand, is seated next to an old woman who seems to be indoctrinating her. Behind them, in the background, the outline of other figures can be discerned. Goya takes up this idea again in the preparatory drawing for Caprice no. 15. Beautiful Counsels, although he lightens the clothes and clears up the face of the old woman, who is more specific, since in the drawing in Album A she is only a barely described silhouette.
