Historia
See Saint Gregory Magnus.
Análisis artístico
Saint Augustine faces the viewer, seated on a throne of clouds in pontifical dress with blue cope, miter and crosier. He is shown in an attitude of prayer, lifting his face in ecstasy and extending his arms. In his left hand he holds a flaming heart. On his right there is a small angel carrying the crosier decorated with a leaf motif.
This pendentive occupies the corner of the Evangelical side furthest from the presbytery.
See Saint Gregory Magnus.
Conservación
The paintings were restored in 1985–86 by Carlos Barboza and Teresa Grasa as part of work commissioned by the Government of Aragón.
