Análisis artístico
The drawing has similar technical characteristics to the two previous works [see Angel's Head (1) and Angel's Head (2)].
This study seems to correspond to the angel seated in the centre of the scene in The Adoration of the Name of God, with his head raised to the right and his torso naked and frontal. The head in this case has a more virile appearance, perhaps due to the naked torso and the illumination it would eventually receive in the fresco. The use of the chiaroscuro accentuates the figure's light.
