This preparatory work fpt the engraving No. 26. They already have a seat, has its initial idea in the drawing in Notebook B, They get drunk (B. 67)
The composition of the drawing is very similar to that of the print. There are practically no changes, which suggests that, at the time of working on the sketch, the painter was very clear about the characteristics of the print. It also seems that Goya had already planned to leave two clearer areas corresponding to the young women's clothes, their legs and their faces.
